Fees or Expenses
Blended Mortgage does not charge fees, expenses or any other amount for any financial advice provided to its clients unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Conflicts of Interest
We receive commissions from the relevant bank if you take out a mortgage following our advice. The commissions are between 0.55% and 0.88% of the value of the mortgage – the amount depends on which bank and what type of mortgage you choose. In addition, were receive a commission of between 0% and 0.2% of the remaining balance each year. I may recommend insurance and asset finance products through Global Care Advisory NZ (insurance) and The Blended Finance (asset finance), for which I may receive remuneration. Despite this, my advice will remain impartial and focused on your needs.

Referrals to other professionals
If at any time during the term of engagement, a need arises for the use of another professional, I will not charge you for this service. If I cannot refer an appropriate professional, I will advise you as soon as possible so that you may explore other options. Should another professional be engaged, I do not accept any liability whatsoever for the advice provided or the fees charged by that other professional, regardless of how the engagement came about. I will do my best to refer you to an appropriate professional. Your information will only be available to the other professional/s with your consent to providing you of service/s below.

To ensure that we prioritise your interests above our own, we follow an advice process that ensures my recommendations are made on the basis of your individual goals and circumstances

+ We complete annual training about how to manage conflict of interest
+ We complete registers of conflicts of interests, and gifts and incentives we receive
+ We perform an annual review of compliance programme.

Complaints Handling and Dispute Resolution
If you have a complaint, please submit it in writing to bel@blendedmortgage.co.nz or contact us to discuss on 020 407 52591 Bel.

Once you have made your complaint, we will acknowledge it within two working days of receiving it and refer it to the appropriate adviser for review.

We aim to have your complaint resolved within five days and will communicate with you in writing our proposed resolution.

If after five working days we can’t resolve your complaint we’ll let you know and explain why we require additional time. We will work to resolve your complaint within 20 working days.

If you are unhappy with the outcome of your complaint or if it has not been resolved within 20 working days, you can contact Financial Services Complaints Ltd (FSCL).

FSCL is an independent approved disputes resolution scheme that we belong to. It will not cost you anything to refer your complaint to FSCL and you can contact them in the following ways:
